General Description

CytoFLEX SRT is a fixed alignment benchtop cell sorter. It uses four high-powered lasers: violet (405nm, 80mW), blue (488nm, 50mW), yellow-green (561nm, 30mW) and red (638nm, 100mW). The system is equipped with forward (FSC) and side (SSC) scatter detectors and 15 fluorescence detectors:

• Violet 405 (450/50, 525/40, 610/20, 660/10, 780/60)
• Blue 488 (525/40, 690/50)
• Yellow-green 561 (585/42, 610/20, 675/30, 710/50, 780/60)
• Red 638 (610/20, 712/25, 780/60)

The tube holders for 1.5 ml, 5 ml and 15 ml are provided. There is a multi-well plate sorting module for a variety of plates including 384-well format and slides. Index sorting is capable for single-cell applications. CytoFLEX SRT can sort up to four populations simultaneously. The is one 100 µm integrated nozzles available. The operation of the device is controlled by the CytExpert SRT software.

General Description

CytoFLEX LX is a superior sensitive flow cytometry analyzer. It has five spatially separated lasers: UV (355nm, 20mW), violet (405nm, 80mW), blue (488nm, 50mW), yellow-green (561nm, 30mW) and red (638nm, 50mW). The system is equipped with forward (FSC) and side (SSC) scatter detectors and 19 fluorescence detectors:

• UV 355 (405/10, 525/40, 675/30)
• Violet 405 (450/45, 525/40, 610/20, 660/10, 763/43)
• Blue 488 (525/40, 610/20, 690/50)
• Yellow-green 561 (585/42, 610/20, 675/30, 710/50, 763/43)
• Red 638 (660/20, 712/25, 763/43)

CytoFLEX LX can sample conventional 5ml tubes as well as 96-well plates. The operation of the instrument is controlled by the CytExpert software.

BD FACSAria II cell sorter

General Description

BD FACSAria II is a high-speed fixed alignment benchtop cell sorter. It uses three lasers: violet (407nm, 30mW), blue (488nm, 13mW) and red (633nm, 11mW). The system is equipped with forward (FSC) and side (SSC) scatter detectors and 9 fluorescence detectors:

• violet 407 (530/30, 450/50)
• blue 488 (780/60, 695/40, 616/23, 585/42, 530/30)
• red 633 (780/60, 660/20).

The tube holders for 1 ml, 1.5 ml, 5 ml and 15 ml are provided. BD FACSAria II can sort up to four populations simultaneously. The variety of particle sizes can be accommodated thanks to integrated nozzles available in four sizes (70 µm, 85 µm, 100 µm & 130 µm). There is no multi-well plate sorting module. The operation of the instrument is controlled by DIVA software version 6.0.
