The MCF facility provides access and support to modern flow cytometry analysis of cells or particles and their physical separation via sorting. Our conventional, spectral and imaging devices allow high-dimensional multicolor flow cytometry and cell sorting based on total fluorescence signals as well as cells morphology and fluorescence intracellular patterns (link to Equipment). Any suspended particle or cell between 0.2 and 150 µm is suitable for analysis and between 0.2 and 30 µm for cell sorting in our facility. Typical applications include immunophenotyping, cell cycle and proliferation assays, measurement of cell viability and apoptosis, analysis of membrane and intracellular proteins/antigens, mitochondrial membrane potential assays as well as cell sorting for various downstream applications such as in vitro cultures, clonal lines, biochemical assays, or sequencing.

The MCF Flow Cytometry service is open to external users from academia and industry (pricelist link).
